With her intense training regime  Daisy was a prime candidate for the CFC despite the fact she had never been in a fight during her entire life. She originally planned on rejecting the CFC's offer but after consulting with Mark Hamill on set she realised if she ever wanted to do anything other than star wars, she would have to fight for that opportunity.
